Their self-described “chaotic, psychedelic brand of space-rock” is a pretty accurate description of Hawkeyes’ sound… a heavy, dark, and monolithic ambience is set by their rhythym section and Hawkeyes’ four guitarists play very interestingly off of it, mounting texture upon texture, weaving a multitude of tones around that monolithic base.
